    Parameterzing links.

    If you have many links why not use the physical description (without having=
    to learn the object in the GUI map)...?
    You will use the physical desc. with a location attribute so that you can c=
    ycle through all the links. You should differentiate between text_links and=
    image_links.

    Hope this helps.

    I didnt really understand your code as i am an novice to Winrunner.
    Should i consider using TEXT_LINK or IMG_LINK?
    Moreover, there are only 6 links, i just need to put it in a loop and click
    the links one by one.
    This is the peice of code, when i click all the links.

    # RightFrm
    set_window("RightFrm",121);
    web_image_click("ddt_val(table, "Command") ", 105, 18);
    web_sync(1);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 36, 17);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("tstandards.gif?OpenImageResource" , 35, 17);
    web_sync(1);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 48, 14);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("ttechnology.gif?OpenImageResource ", 134, 11);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 21, 14);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("tbestp.gif?OpenImageResource", 119, 16);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 26, 21);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("turls.gif?OpenImageResource", 22, 9);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 13, 11);
    web_sync(2);
    web_image_click("tindustry.gif?OpenImageResource", 67, 17);
    web_sync(1);
    web_image_click("back.gif?OpenImageResource", 17, 13);

    Instead of these repetetive steps, can i make a small piece of code that
    does the same action.

    Sorry to trouble you again.

    Regards,
    Sunil.

    Okay,
    What I meant is that you take a general physical description (of this for e=
    xample: "back.gif?OpenImageResource") of those text links OR image links fr=
    om your GUI map, take out the html_name property and instead put location p=
    roperty which will start from 1 if I am not mistaken. Then you can use a lo=
    op (for, while..) to loop through all your objects in that frame.
    Dont forget to put a set_window() statement before...;-)
    Good luck.

    Roman code is general in nature( any number of text links and image links )
    , it identifies each link with any name but only location and highlights. ur
    's is too specific to ur problem and it fails it coordinates changes.

    set_window("RightFrm",164);
    IMG_LINK =3D "{class: object, MSW_Class: html_rect, location:"& i "}=

    Hi it's not so simple!

    If you click on some link you have to click "back" button.
    Some of links can open new browser window.
    with:~ web_obj_get_info(TEXT_LINK, "inner_html", val)
    you can collect all href values in text file and open every one in new
    browser.

    If you chech all the links - think about alternative tool - not WR!
