******* help required for Winrunner and IE !!!

This suggestion I had from Mercury Interactive
Technical Support (1-GQDK0) then I had the same
problem - Excel crashes with winrunner if WinRunner
going to open first
Only difference that I see that I had WinRunner-Excel
crashes and you have IE and WinRunner
It's tell me that you need to ask Mercury Interactive
Technical Support which line on WRun.ini file you need
Please see Mercury Interactive Technical Support
I'm really not sure which part is causing the conflict
- please first try removing our hooks from excel.exe
(see below - in this case the line will be:
excel.exe=rek). If this does not resolve it, try
launching winrunner first with no ActiveX add-in
loaded and next with no add-ins to see if that
resolves the conflict.
Often, you can resolve conflicts by setting WinRunner
to ignore the utility it is conflicting with. If you
know the name of the utility and it is an exe, dll,bin
or ocx file (check with your developer) You can use
remove WinRunner hooks from it as follows. Place it in
your wrun.ini file under [NoBBTApps] (wrun.ini is
located in your WinNT or Windows directory)
Example (in wrun.ini):
(this removes hooks from MyExecutable.exe, MyDll.dll
and MyOcx.ocx but WinRunner will not be able to see
objects in these anymore). This may resolve conflicts
related to these utilities
Please let me know what you find out.

Check the links, I sure somebody in the forum can give you more competent
answer, but way you care about it? WR recognize the object - that's enough!
