    Re: catch OS error (window)message

    Here is one possible solution:

    1) Add a window to your gui map called generic_popup. Use the following physical description:

    {
    class: window,
    MSW_class: "#32770"
    }

    2) Write an exception handler which captures the title of the popup, and closes the window.

    #######################################
    function handle_unexpected_popup()
    {
    auto label;
    win_get_info("generic_popup","label",label);
    report_msg("Unexpected popup: " & label);
    win_type("generic_popup","<kReturn>");
    }
    #####################################

    3) define a popup exception based on this window:

    #####################################
    define_popup_exception("unexpected_popup","handle_ unexpected_popup","generic_popup");
    ###################################

    4) Turn the exception on:

    ###################################
    exception_on("unexpected_popup");
    ####################################

    catch OS error (window)message

    I have prolem when an application has a bug in the code and the OS stop the application the send a error message.

    When an application execute a unvalid operation the OS sends a window with a error message, this message are generated in a dinamic form, futher these errors windows aren't in the GUI map, and the script doesn't include a sentation to drive this.

    how can I catch the errors windows if this is apeare in any moment?
