Try to proceed sequentially such that only one one additional browser is open, even though WinRunner will do fine otherwise. The first window open should be "Browser Main Window" (<- the parent), the second one "Browser Main Window_1", and so on. Just make sure that you add (if not recorded) a
win_activate("Browser Main Window_N") where N is the window you want to go to. I'm assuming you want to close that specific window then. You would use the
win_close("Browser Main Window_N"); statement.
My VP has given me a task to write scripts to test all the links on our sites. I know that Winrunner gets confused with multiple browsers open. It seems to get lost in closing the windows once the new window is opened. Is there a way to get it to open and then set a gui check point to verify the page displays. Any I even close or way off base. Any info on this would be a great help.
