A customer is developing an application using Microsoft's .Net. Does
WinRunner support applications developed using .Net? Do you know of
anyone who has tested any .Net applications using WinRunner? Where
there any know issues/limitations with .Net applicaitons? Are there
any planned WinRunner "add-ins" being developed to support
applications developed using .Net? If not, would activating one of the
existing WinRunner add-ins help WinRunner work more readily with .Net
If you could pass along any and all information concerning WinRunner's
interaction with .Net applicatoins, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please let me know ASAP.

Mercury Interactive officially supports .NET platform. As a person who has
tested an ASP.NET application, let me share my experiences.
WinRunner was able to recognize almost all .NET controls just as any other
Windows application. But I faced some difficulties as well. WinRunner was
not recognizing the IE Web Controls like Tree View, TabStrip etc. But one
work around for TabStrip is to make them as Virtual Objects. But I could not
do anything with Tree View control.
