getting file versions
User qaman30066 (firstname.lastname@example.org) posted:
Anyone know how to get file versions from an executable and store it
in a text file? (manually, I'd right-click->properties on the
file, and then go to the version tab).
I'd like save file versions to a text file before a release,
and compare versions between builds.

You can use Windows API for this or you can use a
special dll available with Mercury to get the file
