Problem with Radio buttons and drop downs in Web Page
I am using winrunner 7.0 for testing web aplication on IE 6.0.
I recorded a scripting for clicking a radio button.But when I play the script the radio button is never clicked even though information about radio button is present in GUI map .
Similarly when I play a script for drop down box I get error message "Object not displayed."
Please let me know if you have a solution.
Re: Problem with Radio buttons and drop downs in Web Page
I've had the same exact problem, seems to stem from the fact that I'm testing a dynamically built html table, and WR can't seem to find the radioButton object even though it's in the GUI map. The solution that I've come up with is kludgey, and if the devs change the position of the radio button, you'll have to modify your script, but here is what I do for it.
# set the window.
set_window("Edit Contact Information",0);
# find a fixed text field near the radioButton as a reference point.
# using the fixed reference, set the x and y offsets in the rect array to match the position of the radioButton and click on that point.
