Please help me with an advice . . .
I am using Winrunner to test an application written in Natural language. My problem is that Winrunner can not recognize Natural’s objects such as “buttons”, “text boxes”, “list boxes”, etc. The Natural screens looks like java applets. So, I can not validate object contents using GUI checkpoints. The only way I know is to create a bitmap checkpoint to capture the visible part of an object contents, but how can I capture an invisible part? For example, I need to validate all items of list box on the screen and the list box is scrollable. If I will use bitmap checkpoint it will capture the only visible items. So I need to scroll manually and do another bitmap checkpoint for the rest of the items . . . Does anybody know the better way to do it?
I will appreciate any help regarding this matter.
