I am using sql Server 7, Winrunner 6.1 and I am using a test database of 200
rows of data.
How can I used Winrunner to do a database checkpoint..I read the online
books, but I cant make this puppy run....would someone be willing to break
down the process for me?

As far as i think, you can use Database Funtions for that. See the DB Functions from which you can run any kind of query on SQL. These functions use DSN plus QUERY STRING and support all the queries which you normally run on SQL server.
