I am having a problem getting my breakpoints to work in WinRunner.
I am using WinRunner 7.01 with the Java add-on. When I place a
breakpoint in the left margin to try and stop my test the script seems
to ignore it and continue running the script. I also tried using a
pause statement and even that doesn't work. Does anyone know what could
possibly cause this? This problem came on all of a sudden, I have been
using the tool for a couple of months and this problem just started in
the last week.

What you experienced is normal. You set a breakpoint on a specific line
number. You delete the line. Check your breakpoint list. The breakpoint is
still there because there is another line now with that number. It is
perfectly appropriate that it stops.
The other problem may be that the person is running his/her scripts in batch
mode and it won't stop for built in pause() statements either.

I had other problem with breakpoint:
If you put breakpoint to line, delete line, BP disappeared, but script stop
on this line anyway.
you can uninstall/install winrunner, as usual it resolve all problem.
