Reading Registry Values with get_register_value
I've been fooling around with the get_registry_value function from Mercury's CSOLIB and obviously I am doing something wrong.
In October 2001 Allogene mentioned this example:
auto SubKey = "Software\Mercury Interactive\WinRunner\TestNumber",
Key = "TestNumber",
I made certain the TestNumber value was available and have tried the above script but I never get a value in the "oldvalue" variable.
There are just so many ways I can change my strings and right now I have run out of ideas.
Has anyone come across this same problem?
Re: Reading Registry Values with get_register_value
Sorry. It works now.
I was originally attempting to run only the part of the script that declard the variables and called get_registry_value and that didn't allow me to see the variable's value.
I tried running the whole script and the value was visible as desired and could be displayed via report_msg().
A bit of a pain but at least I know the function works.
