Iam using winrunner6.0.I want to test Thin-client application.
What version of WinRunner will support this?
Quality is the result of a carefully constructed cultural environment. It has to be the fabric of the organization, not part of the fabric.
I dont think it's a version problem. It's the problem of how you are invoking the java application to capture your script. You must start the java application thru the command line adn use the following syntax
//where java installation folder is the location of jdk and the application calss id the calss which u have to invoke first to start the application.
I too encounter the same problem as yours(that i can't able to record the java application). Previously i used to start the java application thru thr "EXE". That time WR can't able to record. But now, i'm starting the java application thru command line, now WR can record. Even when you start in commenad line, you can see the following lines in the command prompt screen,
"!!! Loading Mercury Support (version 7.01.296.0)
Launching Java Add-in for WinRunner"
Hope the information will helpful to you. Try it.
How come the letters specified between the <> arrows are not displaying????
