Is it at all possible to be able to control and/or emulate a machine that is running WinRunner scripts with PC Anywhere? If not PC Anywhere, are there any other tools that will work? If so, will it be able to restart a machine?
you should be able to control a PC with PC Any Where. If you wanna execute win runner scripts its possible with PC Any where. You cna have a window on your desktop which represents the machien you want to take control and work with.
You can control a machine that has WinRunner with another machine that has PCAnywhere, but you cannot automate the testing of a remote machine via a machine that has WinRunner and PCAnywhere! I hope that makes sense... WinRunner will see the PCAnywhere window as an image only. It can be told to click on coordinates, but it will not recognize any objects.
