Hi, Stephanie.
The most of XRunner's functions are, really, the same functions (except of these that work with windows).
Only, from my experience, XRunner is more problematic because of its numerous bugs.

Subject: RE: [winrunner] Difference between XRunner and WinRunner

Hi Stephanie,

XRunner is not just a UNIX version of WinRunner it actually tests X-Windows (which can be UNIX). It works in much the same way as WinRunner does with MS windows and uses the same TSL coding/syntax as WinRunner. I don't know if it has the same functions as WinRunner, but it definately has the same functionality.
