    Can I Enforce Variable Declaration in scripts bef ore use ??

    User (apareigis@hotmail.com.nospam) posted:

    I'm not sure why you want to be forced to declare a variable. The
    greatest benifit is that you can catch typos like "recieve" "receive"
    at execution/compile time.

    Well... Declare a function called "MainBody" for the main body of the
    script and in place of the normal body just the line of code "rc =
    MainBody();"

    Like a wheel inside a wheel inside a wheel.....

    But one day you will scratch your head and simplify.

    Hi all,

    Does anybody know if it is possible to set winrunner to force variable
    declaration, before a variable can be used in a script.

    In functions they must be declared as say auto for example or the function
    will not run, but scripts do not seem to force declaration at all.

    I would like to enforce variable declaration in scripts as well.

    Any help ??

    Thanks Dave
