Recording/GUI Spy vs. Netscape 6.1?
I apologize if this has already been addressed or if the issue is already well-known, but.. I am trying to create some test cases against a web-based client running Netscape 6.1 and IE 5.x. When recording or using the "GUI spy" tool against the IE browser, all is well. However, when I perform the same actions against the Netscape browser, WinRunner behaves as though it does not recognize anything in the web page as a separate GUI element. Recording gives me nearly analog results and the GUI spy tool identifies only individual frames in the browser such as "MozillaWindowClass_2" This is with WinRunner 7 on a Win2000 box.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Recording/GUI Spy vs. Netscape 6.1?
Well, I've run across a few other references to this on other boards.. I am stuck or what? I've read that WR only covers Netscape thru version 4.7x. Of course, I am using WR v7, so perhaps this is outdated info.
Anyone out there have luck recording against Netscape 6.x w/any version of WR?
