Following on from David's mail - Could the syntax error be to do with code
further down the script (or even directly before - perhaps a missing
semi-colon?)- WR compiles a few lines ahead of the line it is executing,
and finds many errors then. Your error is most likely to do with other
code. Try copying out your loop into a new, empty script, and just run it
to see if the logic works (your loop worked for me), then you know the loop
is not at fault.
In answer to one of your other mails, I virtually live off of FOR loops
with nested if/else statements, and they seem to work ok in 6.02 (which I

Your syntax for the loop and if statements looks correct to me.
What specifically does it say in the "Syntazx Error" message box?
(i.e. does it give you a line or a statement or something, and where
does the cursor stop in the script)
