    location attribute changes

    User (jaycohen2@aol.com.nospam) posted:

    I have found in a number of web apps that a series of objects have
    the same physical description except for the location. This can be
    seen when a button-like web image object is repeated on the same page
    (for example "Add-to-Cart" online shopping). The physical description
    may look like the following (with the location value being different).

    {
    class: object,
    MSW_class: html_rect,
    html_name: "addtocart.gif",
    location: 0
    }

    It appears that the location values of these objects on the app
    (using GUI Spy or Editor Learn) changes after a day or 2 without a
    good reason. For instance the location values may be from 0 to 5 one
    day. Another day the values are 3 to 8.

    Has anyone experienced this?

    Hello,

    I ran into the same problem. But most of the people suggested me to look at
    the unique attribute which can
    be used to identify the window or the object. I would say you better off
    looking at the all the properties
    of the object or window to figure out the unique attribute that can be
    replaced with location attribute.

    Thanks,

    Yes I have a application built in VB has object slike this . But ny problem
    is that number of these objects on a screen can be somewhere between 10 to
    50 dynamically.
