custom object problem
My problem is how to check the functionality for newly created custom object.
In my application in gui map file a textbox is showing thunderRT5Textbox. So I have already configured it to std. Edit class.also pasted the following script in startup script file.
set_record_attr("thunderrt5textbox", "class vb_name", "MSW_id", "location");
still the logical name for that textbox is thunderRT5Textbox so I changed it to a valid name.
Also that textbox consists of 3-4 rows with each row having again 3-4 edit fields in that.so while recording it is not recognizing each edit field.
Recording statements are like win_mouse_click with the coordinates at that point.so I mapped those whole
3-4 rows as virtual list. But now it is taking for each row as list_select_item but still not recognizing each individual edit field.so is it necessary to map each and every edit object in each row as a virtual object?
And now I have to check a functionality of add item button ,after clicking the add button it is again creating a new row of 4-5 edit fields in it and the recording statement again takes logical name as ThunderRT5Textbox,but not the logical name changed in gui map file.also after clicking add button a new row of edit fields are getting created so I can not map them to virtual objects.
So is there any way to check the functionality of add item button?
While starting application already I added the add ons of visual basic and active x.
So pl.give me suggestion.
