Problem when using popup exceptions

I am facing a problem using popup exceptions.
I wrote a popup exception handler function which handles popup error
windows, get the text on the window, report in result file and closes the

winrunner is throwing error stating that "Unable to find window",at
The problem is error windows are followed by the next screen in
application, at set_window("Next Screen"), winrunner popsup message stating
unable to find "previous window".
Please respond if any one know where the problem is....

You have to set_window() back to the window that was active before the
exception handler was triggered, otherwise the next line of code will try t=
act on an object that is set to the window your exception handler function
set_window() to rather than the window that you want to work with.
