Does Winrunner support C++? We are using winrunner on a C++ application and winrunner only recognizes windows but not the objects in the window. The statements winrunner generates are as follows:
win_mouse_click ("Request Detail", 466, 97);
win_type ("Request tail","csd.dtn.cons.ws.oth");
win_mouse_click ("Request Detail", 139, 271);
When you say support C++ what do you mean exactly?
Can you add C++ code to a WinRunner script?
The answer is probably no, since WinRunner uses TSL which is like "C" but slightly different.
Can WinRunner record an application that was written in C++? I would have to say yes. I do not see why it would not. Not sure why it does not recognize the objects though. Someone else is going to have to answer that.
Have you tried calling Mercury Support and asking them?
