may be u r executing the query in db_execute_query function.in that if the query
is too long then it doesn't execute properly.write a query and save it in a
variable.and write the variable name in function instead of writing the
query.May b this will solve ur problem.

Is your application web-based. If yes it seams like there is some back end
code behind the edit fields.
When you record, WR inserts edit_set in to your script, however if there is
some validation behind those fields, edit_set will mess it up. I suggest
using obj_type in cases like that
