WR bugs in array handling?

oh, you know about bugs regarding array handling in WR? Oh PLEASE elaborate
on this. I´d love to learn from your experience. I have seen a lot of bugs
in WR, but not with arrays. So if required, please destroy my final :-)

The only thing I noted is that if you have a multidimensional array, which
can be indexed like in
does NOT extract the Z "row" into the then-one-dimensional array B since
multi-dimensional arrays are no real multi-dimensional arrays in WR but
"only" one-dimensional associative arrays. But that´s just a limitation, not
So what does NOT work?
Thanks in advance...

Betreff: RE: [winrunner] Exception Handling
WR has some tricky bugs that can cause frequent EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATIONs.
I have noticed that this could be related to static variables. If you have
any static's in your functions replace them and see if it still crashes.
Also, arrays used to hold long strings and passed between functions could be
something to look at.

Besides the problems with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATIONs (which are too tricky
to figure out once and for all), I have noticed that if you expand an array
in the watch list (while stepping) all your open files will close. This
makes debugging a nightmare if you don't know what's going on...=20
