Hi there,

I am trying to automate our testing of the Ariba client with WinRunner, with
mix results. The problem is, Ariba assigns numeric values to objects on the
page. The numeric values are dynamic and changes with every rebuild of the
system. I don't know what the assignment algorithm is, but so far, I
cannot find a pattern. So with every rebuild of the system, we have to
recapture our Gui Map.

Has anyone encountered a problem like this and has anyone found a workaround
for this?

thanks,

Jerome Fong
