I have been trying to check the existance of a window. The win_exist command takes a very long time to complete the check. Is there any alternative command. I tried with bitmap check however it is not able to check the existance of a window bitmap..it simply gives an error 'object not found' if window does not appear.
Kindly get back to me ******ly.
Re: check bitmaps
All the context-sensitive functions will return (after your default wait time) the not found error if appropriate. You can test for the specific condition, or set an exception to catch the error.
win_exists() is the proper function to use if the window might or might not appear. Read the documentation on its use --- if coded without a time parameter, then WR will not wait even the default time. Use that format if you know you don't have to wait to see if the window is going to appear.
