Final Resolution from Mercury: Winrunner 7.0 and IE 5 .5

A final resolution!!!
Mercury could reproduce my problem with the page I gave them every single
Mercury sent the page to Israel. Israel could reproduce the problem as
I could NOT reproduce the problem MANUALLY with IE 5.5 and my application
without Winrunner involved.
Israel with a CLEAN machine reproduced the problem MANUALLY with IE 5.5
without Winrunner invoved.
What has caused this problem? A large number of links loaded on a page
cannot be handled by IE5.5. (1,700 + links)
How has this problem been resolved? Mercury said to un-install IE 5.5 and
go back to IE 5.01sp2 and try that.
Resolution: IT NOW WORKS. IE 5.01sp2 can handle 1,700 up to 18,000 links
with no problem.
Conclusion in simple terms: IE5.5 bad... IE 5.01sp2 good.

aha, and have you tried IE6, it is only in Beta so I would assume it to be
the same as 5.5 but you never know. Only thing with 6 is that it has the
update XML parser, which can cause probs if your app dont support it.
