counting files in a directory
User Jan Bagley (firstname.lastname@example.org) posted:
To verify my AUT is performing correctly I need to
count the number of files it sends to a certain
directory. The directory will be empty except for the
files I need to count. All the files will have the
same extension. My search in Help has been
unsuccessful to date.

You can use the dos_system() function to run the dir command (use the /b parm) and redirect the output (via '>') to a named file. Then, open the file, read the lines, close the file, and delete it.
