Is anyone using WinRunner and X-Runner ?

Is anyone here testing cross platform?

We have a application that runs on NT
    and Solaris.

I know WinRunner does not support
Unix directly, but I heard it is possible through a X virtual display running on NT.
    Is anyone doing that?

Also, is anyone using X-Runner ?
There seems to be no X-Runner topic on this site.

Maybe the price of X-Runner (14K)
    is limiting its usage.

    I have used both
X-Runner works very much like Winrunner.

I'd be very surprised if this was the case, although I'm open to correction...

My understanding is that with an X virtual display on NT you are only getting a 'view' into the UNIX-land.

The AUT classes which WR would need to integrate with to work correctly would not be present locally and WR could therefore not 'see' objects (bar the X container which would be running on NT).

This was the case with SilkTest and since WR works in pretty much the same way, I don't think it is any different.
