WR - Dialog manipulation
Is there anyone that could help me with the following:
I am using the "Create_List_dialog" function to enter usernames - however I am trying to get it to Time out if there is no user intervention. However: WR does not allow me to get the object name of the List Dialog ("ok" button") As I am trying to select (0) index and simply press OK.
being a newbe to WR is there some other way to do this.
Re: WR - Dialog manipulation
I may be wrong as I haven't worked with creating dialogs very often, but I don't see how it is possible for this approach to work.
When you call 'create_list_dialog' WR will halt script execution until a value is entered by the user.
If the user never enters a value (as would happen in this case), presumably the script will not resume execution and it will not be possible to get WR to select a default value and click 'OK'.
It might be worth looking at creating a 'define_popup_exception' for the list dialog box and writing a handler which would wait for the timeout before selecting the default item, clicking 'OK' and continuing script execution.
That said, its contrived and may not work, so if anyone has any better ideas...
