When recording navigation through a web-site, how can one get WinRunner to capture and play-back mouse-over drop-downs? Is there a specific command that I'm missing?
Take a look at the WinRunner 'web_event' call (part of WebTest, but I assume you have that loaded anyway for web testing).
You give it the name of the object and the event you wish to emulate, for example:
This worked for me, although WinRunner did not record the interaction which meant I had to handcode the line above (recorded 'mousedown' events no problem though).
If it doesn't replay correctly you could also just click the area of the screen desired which should trigger the event.
