Practical experience with Winrunner?
Since a short time I am working with Winrunner. Winrunner's documentation gives all the possibilities but this is theory. So I am interested in some practical experience about Winrunner 6.02.
Which test is very efficient to automate with Winrunner(in practice)?
Which environment can Winrunner support very good and not so good(in practice)?
Other practical experiences with Winrunner are welcome.
I am working with Winrunner 6.02.
Re: Practical experience with Winrunner?
In addition to prowling through this board there is also a document available that provides feature descriptions of Mercury-Interactive’s WinRunner, version 6.02 [and Segue’s SilkTest, version 5.03], which may be helpful.
The goal of this document is to describe as objectively as possible the capabilities provided by each tool for each feature, rather than trying to state that one tool’s implementation of a feature is better than the other. This document is a good starting point for a complete test tool evaluation.
This document can be viewed and/or downloaded in PDF format by navigating http://AutomationExpertise.com clicking on the Resources link in the Menu frame on the left side of the home page, and then clicking on the SilkWrFeatures.pdf link in the Other section on the Resources page.
