TSL multi-dimensional arrays
New WinRunner users, confused by the following TSL Manual
statement describing TSL's multi-dimensional array implementation:

quote:
TSL simulates multidimensional arrays using one-dimension arrays.
The element multi_array[x, y, z] is stored in a one-dimensional
array called multi_array, in elements [x & SUBSEP & y & SUBSEP & z].
Where the variable SUBSEP has the value of "\034.

[page 25 in the TSL Reference Guide, version 6.0].
may find the attached testcase useful in understanding TSL's
unusual implementation of multi-dimensional arrays.

Re: TSL multi-dimensional arrays
Good explanation! This also illustrates the reason that array elements are not required to be sequential. The following array with 3 elements:
is perfectly valid.
