Mainframe 3270 / WinRunner
I have overcome most of the teething problems with WinRunner and 3270, but had some other issues - these have been posted with the Mercury Help Desk with no response to date.
Firstly: I am running several WR scripts as a batch run. A TSL error occurs in the first script, but the other following scripts still run, giving a PASS status. Regardless of what the TSL error is, I would expect the first script to fail and none of the following to run. Have you come across this problem?
Secondly: I am running a while loop which copies data files to new locations prior to a data loading process. If I run this directly from WinRunner, the files are processed sequentially as required, the first finishes before the second begins, and so on. However, often (e.g.) the third will begin before the second finishes, and the data loading sometimes begins before all the copy statements have been completed. (This creates an error), My question is - why the inconsistency between identical runs?

1. At the end of your test (or when you expect it to fail )type ''texit''.
Whenver it fails the all sequence would be terminated, in opposite to the use of treturn command !
