I used to be a coder in Assembler on IBM 390 OS. I learned C++ for the same environment but only used it to a small degree in a bug squashing way. Never really "wrote" much C++. We only used C++ to deal with TCP traffic. My understanding was that the implementation of C++ was to some degree specific to Mainframe.

Now I am getting into a QA position that will be using Test Director and the mgr told me that we would be scripting in C++ for the API.

Any suggestions on how to bone up on my C++ in a way relevant to this use?

I am also looking to learn as much as I can about Test Director before starting the job. I have downloaded the manuals from HP. Any other ways I could learn more about Test Director? All suggestions welcome.

Thank You All,
