When I try to run a WinRunner script remotely with Test Director I get the “Access is denied” error. I looked up the error on the Mercury knowledge base, but none of their solutions have helped. For the record I checked regedit to make sure DCOM protocol is enabled and I make sure both machines are on the same domain.
I just wanted to know if there are any other sources to this error that I could explore. I was also wondering if there is any way to get more information about the error, as the current message doesn’t give much detail.
I just wanted to add that I have enabled Allow TestDirector to run tests remotely in the general options.
Also I an using Quality Center 8.2 and WinRunner 7.5
