We start using QC next month for supporting our manual and automated Tests. We are testing two large AUT with long lifetime (> 5 years) and 10 - 30 user. Now some questions arise in our organization ... how much manpower and time do we need to
- set up new projects is a way we can handle the large data we get from tests
- administer the QC
I wouldn't think so. We have one administrator who puts in around 5 to 10 hours per week. We have 13 projects one is 5 years old and has 129 users, with enormous amounts of data. As long as you do not have to administer your own database and are using something like Oracle, the only reason you might consider a full time admin is if you expect to have a lot of workflow scripting. And data mining from the TD database.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
