Eliminate fields in the Modify Defects Tasks
I am using TestDirector 7.6.
How can I eliminate some of the un-used fields from the "Defect Details" window when a defect record is retrieved for update. I have tried to de-select a number of fileds in the "Permission Setting for xxx Group" in the Customize functions, but it doesn't work on the task for Modify Defect.
Besides, can all the fields be ordered in the way I want to? In the Add Defects tasks, I have named each input field with a number as prefix, such as "1-Module, 2-Status...".
Re: Eliminate fields in the Modify Defects Tasks
In the 'Permission settings for xxx group', go to the defect tab.
Click the Data-Hiding Filter link located at the bottom left corner of the dialog box.
The Defects Data-Hiding Filter dialog box opens.
Click on the Visible Fields tab.
Here you should be able to indicate which fields have to be shown/hide (for a group) in the defect details screen.
