    Invoking TestDirector remotely

    Hey folks,

Once my vbscript build files complete I want them to call TestDirector in order for it to run the Install automation script. Is there any way to do this? The reason that I need to do this through test director rather than WirRunner is that the install needs to be done on a remote box. All rather messy...

Failing that does anyone know of a way to start a WinRunner script on a remote machine?

    Cheers
    Neil

If your automation script is in a test set you can start this test set remotely. There is a utility called RunTestSet on the CSO site you can use from the command line.

    Re: Invoking TestDirector remotely

    Thanks!

I'm having some problems getting it to recognise the test set path though. It keeps claiming not to find the tests.

My test sets are stored in folders in the test lab. How do I specify this in the /t parameter? Anyone got an example?

    Many thanks,
    Neil

I am having the same problem....I see the absolute path in "Test lab" under root and while specifying such via the "/f:" parameter it returns a "Node not Found" error. I would greatly appreciate any assistence or example. Thanks
