    Export an excel file into TD

    I am working on testing documents and we have created a document analysis report (This is an excel sheet which has the decription of the document, it's name and the field names, location, and what is suppose to plot on those fields) that needs to be exported and used as test scripts. How do we go about doing this and how can we do this export in TD?

    You can download Testdirector's excel addin then you can add. Try following link:

    HI,

    I have installed Excel addin for TD and am trying to export testcases to TD. But when i enter the Coulmn nmaes for Subject and Testname as coulmn names A and B (excel sheet names)it gives me an error saying that it needs value. I don't understand what values it requires.

    What am i doing wrong here? help please.

    Required fields in TD must be mapped to a column name in excell also the columns must contain some data

    .....also, do not forget to select the cells that you are exporting

    Note that required fields are shown in red when you export from Excel to TD.
