I'm attempting to run a number of WinRunner scripts through TD but I'm getting an error which states "Cannot get RemoteAgents Class ID for test type <WR-Automated". It's not something I've come across before and I'm not sure if this a problem with the scripts or TD. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks Steve.
When evaluating TestDirector at home inside virtual pc on my Mac it suddenly worked: As an experiment I switched from Borland to Visual C++ and suddenly my classes worked fine. Trying this now in the office on our "real pc's" it also works but always only on the same pc where TD is initial installed.
From any other remote pc I get the error message as shown above.
So this problem has 2 sides:
The more importand one:
1. What have I to do for running my classes from a remote pc. The classes are correct registered on my remote pc and also on the clients the add on is installed.
2. What the heck is the problem with com classes generated by Borland C++ Builder 6.0. I compared the definitions of the com classes (TestType, RemoteAgent, ...) many times with the ones of my working Visual C++ sample. They are simply identical.
