    Login Testdirector and Site Administrator is failing

    1.When I login Tesdirector , input username and password (the username and password is right) ,then press "login" button , but a warning appear , it said " Error: The RPC server is unavailable ,Press OK continue or CANCEL to close application"

    2.When I login Site Administrator , input password ( the password is right),then press "login" button , but a warning appear , it said " The RPC server is unavailable "

    in fact, the Remote Procedure Call(RPC) Locator is starup (RPC server is starup).

    what is a question ? how can I solve this question ?

    environment:
    1.Operating System : Windows 2000 professional ( chinese _simple ) + Pack 4 + IE6.0

    2.Database : Microsoft SQL Server2000 ( personal Edition )

    3.Testdirector version: 7.6 ( enterprise Edition )

    I had this problem with RPC server unavailable on and off. But once i reinvoke my browser the problem always used to get resolved.
    But this is something I found on MI's knowledge base

    To Force, I do what you said , but question does not be solved . because in the "Web Site" (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Internet Services Manager), the connections max is only "10" , it is not a higher number.

    what can I do ?
