What If we delete test sets by mistake?
Here is the situation
We tested 25 test cases under one test set and we lost 10 test cases accidently when one of our colleague was working with Execution Flow.
How do we get back 10 test cases?
TD Admn have backup copy(which he takes every day) and he said he can put complete project up, but not individual test sets or test cases?
Project has got almost 50 test sets and I do not want all of them?
Did any body come across this kind of situation.
We can create the test cases(each has got almost 70 steps), but is there any way to get back.
Re: What If we delete test sets by mistake?
When a test set is deleted you aren't deleting tests really, just test runs.
If you need the metrics or something and it's not possible to retest the test set I'd suggest having your project restored from backup as a separate project. When the copy is available do your reporting etc then remove the project.
I'd also recomend some training and possibly tightened group rights for deleting execution information....
