7.5 and DCOM settings
Currently i test TD7.5 with SP1. I ran in a DCOM problem. When i'm logged in as local admin and use the "interactive user" for the DCOM programs, the system works. I can log in and see 2 domains and my 4 projects. When i use "this user" and specify the local admin with his password i get problems with the new domain features. In the TDchecker i get the message "Can not create domain server instance:Invalid Domain Name " with a red cross for the topic "domain info"
In the domsrv.log i get the message "CDomain | Create_Physical_Dir | Failed to create directory for this domain" and i cannot add domains or projects.
Where is the difference in Win2000 between the admin as interactive user and as fixed user?

Re: 7.5 and DCOM settings
I got it!
Our CommonDir/Repository is on a network share. It was mounted with a drive letter so it worked when the user was logged in but not with "this user" or when the admin was logged out.
Even some paths inside the projects were set with drive letters by the software or the OS.
Never use drive letters for network shares on your TD server!
