    copying Test scripts from winrunner to Test director



    I have huge number of test scripts in winrunner. I wish to download all those into Test director. Please let me know the procedure to do the same.

    You need to establish a connection to the TestDirector server. You can find out how in the user's guide.

    The best way to do that is to create an automated test in TestDirector, then Click the Launch WinRunner from TD. This will create the connection immediatly. Then any file you open in WR will ask you to save to or open from the TD repository. You may click the File System button to go to your file system and then save to the TD repository.

    For TestDirector 7.2 (but not 7.5 right now) Mercury offers an Import Utility for WinRunner scripts. This is the most convenient way to import a huge amount of WinRunner scripts and you can download it for free from http://updates.merc-int.com/testdirector
