Problems running scripts using TestDirector
Has anyone run into a problem where TD invokes WR (on a remote host) and all the test scripts fail? If I have WR up and ready and run scripts (again from a remote host) from TD all is fine.
After reviewing the errors involved, it appears that it has to do with a timing issue between screens. (I am syncing all my screens) It's strange that there's such a dramatic difference between having WR up and running and WR being invoked by TD.
I second problem I have run into has to do with running my tests locally in a test harness...all pass (script invokation is as: call "[TD]\\Subject\\..."()). I run all my tests again within TD and all fail. How is it possible that the results are so radically different?
My installation is: WR 7.01 / TD 7.2
Thanks in advance for any help on this issue
Re: Problems running scripts using TestDirector
When all of your scripts fail on other machines you might have made changes to the WR Settings on your original machine and forget to distribute them or you may have forgotten to load an add-in.
Therefor i make all configurations in a separate startup script and call this in the beginning of each test script
