Just a performance question on Test Director 7.2
Has anyone any views on its performance when its multiple users connecting
to a single repository from different locations (SQL 2000 database) ?

Re: Test Director Performance
The last 3-5 days, our TestDirector system went into a "crawling" stage. Just logging on was taking about 2-5 minutes. Scrolling down the bugs list displays the message "Retrieving Data" and the blue progress bar at the bottom of the screen as if it wants you to take a coffee break first or something --- very slow. The Compact tool was run and it didn't help at all. Mercury support was running out of suggestions to our MIS guy who is administering the system.
Finally, this afternoon about 10 minutes ago, Bugs Bunny was outrunning the Turtle (not the Ninja ones) again!
And the key to the whole thing according to our MIS guy ---> somehow the Tracing was turned ON.
So what else is new? Everything else is being monitored around the place already anyway: the emails, phones (maybe?), Web browsing, etc.
