We encountered some problems too until someone figured out that somehow we were using the wrong version Excel macro for the version of TD that we had. Once we had the correct version, things worked much better.

QUALITY . . . is like buying oats. If you want nice, clean, fresh oats, you must pay a fair price.
However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse . . . that comes a little cheaper.
This is my problem:
For importing the requirements, i only need to give the main imformation: father_id. But for the test cases, i give the subject_father_id but it isn't enough. So now i just want to know if someone has ever got this problem.
razza, the key here is that some of your problems could be related to the version of TD and the version of the macro you are using, in addition to how you're defining the requirements.
When you say you give the 'subject_father_id' and it isn't enough, what error are you receiving? For each test case, the "Subject" bookmark creates a FOLDER within the Test Planning are of TD. You would place the "Open" before the folder and the "Closed" after - but you don't necessarily need to use this.
For a test, you first define the TEST, then each of the STEPs, and then close the defined test.
I'm not sure of your issue here - test cases don't use the 'parent' information like requirements do.
