The RPC server is unavailable
i am also getting same problem like below.
So can any one help me out
I've set up TD 7.2 on the server and I'm in the process of sorting the clients out. Problem is, I type in the URL for the server and when selecting Full Test Director I receive the following error:-
The RPC server is unavailable. Press OK to continue or cancel to close application.
Click OK and no projects appear in the list. Then when I close down the browser I get this error:-
OTA server is not connected
Please can someone help me out, I've tried everything Mercury has said

This message occurs when there are issues with the user permissions or configuration on your server.
Check out Knowledge Base article 6883, and follow it step-by-step to determine if one of these problems is the issue. Be most careful in checking DCOMCNFG settings, as there are specific users who must be given permissions in the "Custom" launch settings (IWAM, IUSER, the ADMINISTRATORs group, and whatever user you are using to 'launch TD'.
I'd also suggest creating a specific user for TD that has admin rights to the TestDirector server, and using that user to launch TD Services in the DCOMCNFG.
You might also try 'removing' all of your projects, renaming the aliases.cfg file in the CommonDirctory, restoring all of the projects, and trying again. This is much less likely to be a solution, however.
