In our company, we are using TD 6.02. The only reason we haven't converted to TD7.01 yet is following -- in TD 6.02 we're allowed to attach a single script to multiple automated test cases, whereas TD 7.01 is forcing us to create a new script for each test case. This leads to having multiple copies of the same script, which is a maintenance nightmare.
We're playing with a possibility of accomplishing this through the back-end of TD, but haven't found a good solution yet.
1. Use OTA API and create some program/script in VB for example that setups test path to point to the same folder.
2. OR just open project Admin tool and update TS_PATH column to point to the same location, manually or with UPDATE query.
Could you attach a very small script to each test, with each of these test scripts calling your main script- perhaps passing to the main script a parameter to indicate what test case is being executed?

QUALITY . . . is like buying oats. If you want nice, clean, fresh oats, you must pay a fair price.
However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse . . . that comes a little cheaper.
