Minimum Requirements according to the TD 7.0 Standard Installation Guide (and I quote):

256 MB RAM (2000 environment)
170 MB Disk Space<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Ok, yeah, right. So what are the REAL requirements for a dedicated TD box? Should I be on no less than a 350? PIII 450?

Re: TD Requirements
Surprisingly, it's not that far off... here's what my field tech responded when I questioned what we'd 'actually' need for an Enterprise-wide solution - and keep in mind the size of the company I'm at.
As far as space requirements for TD, and the storage of WR scripts, do not worry about capacity planning. WR
scripts are merely text files and are rarely more than 10KB. Even the largest TD installs are <1 GB.

And as far as performance, I have not personally seen issues yet, and would think that's as related to what ever else might be running on the server, etc. My TD server is NOT yet a dedicated server, and I haven't seen many issues.
What I will also caveat, however, is that the above statement was followed up with recommendations to contact CSO if you are planning on distributing ANY part of the server, as we've talked about before. According to my web specialist guy in house, though, the necessity for Domain Admin rights can be worked around by ensuring that the TD server has Admin rights to any/all servers/resources it's going to access.
